Description

RopeEmotion

"Connection" is a rope buzzword. Everyone wants to tie with connection but when you ask people to show you what that means to them, many times you see the same thing. "Connected rope" is slow, sensual, sexy rope. All of these things are wonderful but this is a very limiting way to think of "connection". This style of tying certainly doesn't work for everyone or may not fit into your dynamic well but this doesn't mean that you can't have a connected rope scene. This class is designed to help you understand connection as more than sensual rope. Through a series of hands-on exercises and games, you will learn to tie with any intention you want whether that is soft and sensual, rough and brutal, or even exploring how to connect with your partner through intentional disconnection. Be prepared to tie your partner in new ways that you may not have explored before but also be prepared for laughter and fun. After all, not all connection has to be serious.

Necessary Materials: 2-3 pieces of 25-30 ft rope and a cutting tool (knives are not acceptable)

Pre-requisite skills: Single column tie
