Writers Night Out Workshop: February Hot Flash
What better way to combat the short, cold days of winter with a little hot writing? Following the popularity of her talk “The Truth about Sex in Fiction,” Author Patricia Ann McNair (The Temple of Air) will discuss writing sex in your fiction and nonfiction work.
We will use exercises that will help develop honest, interesting writing about this important aspect of everyday life. Participants will share ideas and writing from the workshop, with peer feedback to help work through any censorship issues.
- A journal or notebook (no laptops, please)
- A willingness to take some risks
Do not bring: Exisiting manuscripts.
An important note: Good sex writing is not always about good sex; it is, however, about good writing.
