F.E.A.S.T. welcomes parents and caregivers, as well as all those interested in the support and treatment of eating disorder patients, to an unforgettable event. Meet caregivers from around the world, learn directly from top scientists and clinicians, and get a cutting edge look at new techniques and research. This one-day event follows the Academy for Eating Disorders annual conference in New York City and will feature speakers from that conference who will present their work in condensed form especially for parents and caregivers.

REGISTRATION: $75 (includes lunch and snack) AFTER-PARTY: $50 (includes dinner, music performance, dancing)

We will spend a day together learning, networking, and supporting one another in a special space: a library theater (www.caveat.nyc). The event will feature a casual family-style lunch, a book-swap, brainstorming, neurobiology exercises, and an opportunity to meet and talk with some of the leading advocates in the parent community along with some of the rock stars in the treatment world. You will participate in research, and you will go home with new skills and friends.

The theme of the event this year, appropriate to being in New York City, is “The Dance.” The dance of genes and environment, of parents taking over and letting go of control during recovery, and of physical movement and exercise. The registration price includes the full day of activities, your lunch, and a coffee and snack break (you know we wouldn’t let you go hungry!). Scholarship tickets may become available, and donations to cover other parents are warmly welcomed!
