Food, Entertainment, & Activities because we ARE Stronger Together.
Live game show contest, Knoxville Stars Talent Contest, music, motivational speaker, activities, food, onsite training(s), & connections to community resources.
Knoxville, we are good people who want our hometown to thrive. This event will help connect attendees with resources where they can access services and/or volunteer. You don't have to have money to make a difference - volunteer your time.
Is this a church event?
No, but it is Christian friendly. The faith based community works along side non-profits and businesses to serve our people. This event will help you find non-profits, businesses, or churches to connect with. We encourage volunteer participation where ever your passion lies. We are VOLS, the volunteers. Our goal is unity in achieving good things for our communities.
F.E.A.S.T. is a community outreach movement. The intent is to bring churches, non-profits, businesses and individuals together to focus on issues that affect us all. Crime, violence, poverty, mental health, addiction, and diversity/inclusion do not exist in just one zip code in Knoxville. Each area has its own share of issues.
The crime index in Knox County is climbing. If this pattern continues the pattern, within the next ten years it will mirror that of Nashville, Chattanooga, and Memphis. We have real problems that need to be addressed. Leaders don’t currently work well as a team. There is division among church denominations, ethnicities, areas of town, and many other things related to socioeconomics that divide people.
F.E.A.S.T. will not be just a one-day event. My vision is for F.E.A.S.T. to be the beginning of a movement that will have a lasting effect on Knoxville. F.E.A.S.T. is different than any other community outreach project in many ways. F.E.A.S.T will have:
ü Pre-event engagement and activities
ü Transportation to event
ü Stage play
ü Knoxville’s Got Talent Contest
ü Win Prizes
ü Family Feud Style Tournament
ü Post event collaborations
