Advanced Template Design
FDOT CADD 3D Design and Modeling Community
Participants with solid understanding of Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) using MicroStation, a basic understanding of GEOPAK SS4 with OpenRoads and a solid understanding of the engineering necessary to design a Roadway. Participants will learn basic and advanced knowledge of the Create Template dialog within Bentley GEOPAK V8i SELECT Series4 (SS4) environment for design and modeling within the FDOTSS4 workspace. Participants are encouraged to bring office project typical sections or templates to work on. This is a 1-day training course.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to get a good seat and so the sessions can start on time. There is a lot to cover! Seating is first come, first served. For best hearing and viewing, we suggest you sit as close to the instructor and display screen as possible. As for the quality of the audio / visuals, we’re at the mercy of the equipment at the facility. Silence your cell phone - If you have the need to use your cell phone for calls or texting we ask you leave the room.
If this session has handouts, they will be posted electronically approximately within one week at the conclusion of the training on the Engineering/CADD Systems website.
