Summit Kick-Off Event:
Join us Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 PM right outside our FBS Office, for a not-to-be-missed indoor/outdoor kickoff client appreciation event!
We're excited to host this wonderful evening that includes round-trip transportation, cocktails and great food (including on-site gourmet Latin American inspired food, and local homemade desserts). If you haven't visited our FBS Office before, this is your chance to see "where it all happens" while also enjoying a live band, yard games and relax in casual conversations with friends.
Summit Closing Event:
This year's Summit wrap-up can't be missed! Join us Thursday evening from 5:00 - 9:00 PM, as we host round-trip transportation to two local, modern hot-spots in Downtown Fargo. Enjoy hand crafted cocktails, local brews and delicious eats with curated tours of Drekker Brewery and Proof, Fargo's only vodka, gin and whiskey distillery.
After the downtown fun, we will transport you back to the Hilton Garden Inn to end the evening with catered late night treats, drinks and warm conversation from 9:00 PM - (11:00 PM OR) until you decide to head back upstairs to the comfort of your room for a good night's sleep.
The Summit will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, and for your convenience you can choose to stay there or in the new Home2 Suites, an all-suite hotel by Hilton which shares the same parking lot (no commuting needed).

What's this NEW Elite Trainers' Forum?
The Elite Trainers' Forum will be open only to Trainers and Educators from different MLS/Associations with the goal of providing an open setting that fosters interaction and collaboration. Because the Trainers' Forum concept is brand new, FBS would like those who attend the inaugural 2016 meeting to help guide the mission so that all attendees can gain value from their attendance and experience the benefits of this Elite Trainers' Forum long after they return to their training responsibilities.
Activities May Include:
- Problem solving
- Idea sharing
- Elite Trainer Certification Program
- Sharing of best practices
- Bringing in Master Trainers for pointers and tips
- Planning quarterly phone calls to continue the momentum and sharing
WHEN: Monday, July 11th 2016 (day before the Education sessions begin at the FBS Summit)
WHERE: Fargo, ND at the Summit Hotel (Hilton Garden Inn). There is no cost to register or participate in the Elite Trainers' Forum
TIME: 2:00 - 5:00 PM (refreshments and appetizers will be served)
How much does it cost?
There is no registration cost to attend the FBS Summit. While FBS will fully host a number of meals and events during the Summit, attendees are responsible for their own travel, remaining meals and incidentals.
Who should attend?
Your MLS may send as many representatives as you wish. The majority of the topics are designed for MLS Staff (MLS Director, MLS Trainer(s), Association Executive, Executive Officer, President, MLS Chair etc.), however, brokers may benefit from the Summit as well. Registration for each person in your group is very important as it will provide us with an accurate attendance count. As always, registration is free. While the meeting agenda has not yet been fully determined, the format includes a variety of large group discussions and smaller work groups with topics such as:
Flexmls Web features and what’s coming (including training)
Flexmls Mobile features and what’s coming (including training)
Important Real Estate industry news, trends and development
When Should You Travel?
Great question! Sunday, July 10th or Monday, July 11th are the best days for you to travel to Fargo depending on if you are attending our optional Elite Trainers' Forum on Monday, July 11th. Friday, July 15th is the best days for you to travel home. Our new Optional Elite Trainers' Forum will start at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 11th. Our official Summit will start on Tuesday, July 12th followed by our Welcoming Event and Dinner at the FBS Office! Our Summit will end Thursday, July 14th after our amazing closing event in the evening that you will NOT want to miss!
Do you need a ride from the Fargo Airport to your hotel once you land? If so, there will be a handful of taxi services available at the airport upon your arrival, but I recommend choosing from one of the following transportation options below:
- Doyle's Yellow Checker Cab: (701) 235-5535
- Go Cab Taxi: (701) 630-9383
