About InfraGard

InfraGard was founded in 1996 so that the FBI and members of the private sector could partner together for information sharing and dialogue. The program is designed to improve our collective ability to address threats to critical U.S. infrastructure and help ensure the security of our nation.

InfraGard members include business executives, entrepreneurs, lawyers, security personnel, military and government officials, IT professionals, academia and state and local law enforcement—all dedicated to contributing industry-specific insight and advancing national security.

The original InfraGard program offers an individual membership, but it has recently been expanded to allow for companies to participate as a whole. InfraGard Enterprise facilitates seamless collaboration between the FBI and private sector companies to defend against the latest and most advanced threats.
