Join us for an evening of historical adventure! Annual Dinner ticket includes buffet, coffee, dessert, silent auction, cash bar, and special guest lecture. Ticket sales end September 13th.

Special Guest Speaker: Cliff Krainik

From the White House to Warrenton and Back: Teddy Roosevelt’s Epic Ride During the Winter of 1909.

Cliff Krainik, a longtime resident of Warrenton, is a historian, lecturer and appraiser. He has written extensively on the subject of 19th century photography and is a frequent contributor to the journal White House History. In 1988, he and his late wife Michele, co-authored the award-winning, standard reference on daguerreotype cases, Union Cases: A Collector’s Guide to the Art of America’s First Plastics. Cliff holds a degree in Forensic Science, Administration of Criminal Justice from the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is currently writing the biography of John Plumbe, Jr., a pioneer photographer and the first advocate for the U.S. transcontinental railroad.
