Fastest LS in the Midwest

This is a bracket race event.
Coupe Class (GTO, Camaro)
Sedan (G8, SS)
V Class (CTS, ATS)
LS Swap Class (any vehicle with a modern LS, LSX, L76 motor)
Street Class (Open Bracket for any vehicle that meets the Spec requirements)
*You will have the opportunity to participate in more than one classification. There will be the additional registration fee for each class you would like to enter. (Example CTSV Coupe can be in both the Coupe, V, and Street classes)
1/4 mile, heads up, pro tree
– Must run DOT tires/DR tires (No slicks)
– Full interior
– Current tags
-Front and side windows must be glass
-Must have helmet
-Must meet tracks safety requirements at tech in
-Cross the center line, you’re out
-Red light, you’re out
-Clocks will be on and times shown
-Must pay gate entry to race
-Pairings are done by drawing out of hat each round.
-First name of pair drawn gets lane choice
Schedule for Racing Saturday:
July 9th 2017
-Gates open at 9 am
-Test and Tune 10:00 am – Noon
-Drivers meeting for 1:00 pm (all buy ins have to be accounted for at this meeting)
-Pre Bracket qualifying 2:00 PM (Each car will be allowed 2 passes. Best pass in each bracket receives a 1st round bye. Depending on the number of participants, there may be a need for a “Sub 10” Bracket within a class. This will be determined the day of the event)
Order of Brackets:
1) Vette Class
2) Sedan Class
3) V Class
4) LS Swap Class
5) Coupe Class
6) Street Class
Immediately following the last Bracket race, there will be time allocated for Call Outs- Any participant of any class can call out another participant in a straight up head to head race. Same rules apply as the days event.
The winners of each respective Class will have the opportunity to race the winner other classes for a Finale Bracket and be Crowned the The Fastest LS in the Midwest
*Awards will be handed out at the conclusion of the event.
Winners of their respective classes will each receive a trophy and be highlight on all event publications.
-DOT tires and/or M/T Pros including R, if running 17″+ wheels and tire is OK.
-1/4 mile heads up
-Pro Tree start
-Must meet tracks safety requirements
-Do not cross the center line
-Factory frame rails required. No tube chassis.
-Must pay gate entry to race (Preregistration/payment option)
-No Ice Boxes
-Manufacturer spec operating doors
