This session is presented by Nancy Long, the executive director of 501 Commons, Washington State’s nonprofit management support organization. 501 Commons provides free Information and Referral services, contracted HR, technology and finance and management and technology consulting. The organization also operate several action learning programs for cohorts of nonprofit organizations, including Plan IT (formerly Deep Dive) and HR Toolkit.
Nancy was formerly the Vice-president of Strategy and Organizational Development at Group Health Cooperative and the Director of Quality for the Washington State Hospital Association and Washington Health Foundation. She has led nonprofit boards, chaired the Seattle Planning Commission and organized coalitions of community organizations. She has a Master’s degree from the Evans School at the University of Washington where she was an affiliate faculty member teaching courses on management and leadership of nonprofit organizations.
