Intro to POWERPOINT 2010
Introduction to PowerPoint 2010 is the thirteenth version of Microsoft’s presentation software. It can be used to create anything from a basic slide show to a self-running narrated presentation with embedded videos and sound.
PowerPoint provides numerous features that offers flexibility and the ability to create a professional presentation. One of the features provides the ability to create a presentation that includes music which plays throughout the entire presentation or sound effects for particular slides.
This course for Introduction to Microsoft Office PowerPoint gives a brief overview of tabs and groups, covers some simple presentations, making presentations look professional and presentable, the basics of formatting, and presenting slide shows.

Data Files: Instructor will provide data files.
Flash Drive: Each student must provide his/her own storage device.
Software: Microsoft Office 2010, Internet, and Windows XP will be used. Instructor will provide information on how to use these packages.
Handouts: Additional handouts may be required. Instructor will provide information on obtaining this material.
Attendance: Students are expected to attend each of the four (4) sessions.
In-Class Assignments: All assignments are to be done in class during allotted time.
Home Work Assignments: All assignments are due the next class period.
Hours: This is a 9 hour course offered over 3 sessions.
