"Luxury, which is my world, has a very narrow channel of communication. It has great PR, great print and amazing stores. But it’s not really about digital. Ecommerce was seen as a threat. So much money and investment of resource and training has been put into these incredible flagship stores that luxury brands have been building around the world. So the idea of digital was seen as a real threat. Brands felt it was an impersonal channel to communicate the touch and the feel and the essence of their stores. You had to be able to feel the weight of the Rolex watch and appreciate the stitchery of the Birkin bag and digital wasn’t really doing that."

Arifa Khan , founder of Niddoo Fashion, is an investment banker, an acclaimed painter, and a fashion designer and has taken short courses in Fashion Design at the London College of Fashion. She organised the first ever fashion show at the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, in 2003 as the founder of The culture Club at Wharton, which was a huge success.

Conducted by experienced fashion designers and fashion entrepreneurs with design credentials from London College of Fashion & Central St Martins, finance credentials from Wharton school of Business and fashion business experience in London & Paris.
The Launch your Creative Venture and Get Funded course will consist of talks by successful fashion entrepreneurs, designers and investors. Attendees will put together business plans and investor pitches during the course, and present their portfolios and investor pitches at The Red Carpet Exclusive Fashion Investor Gala.
The Red Carpet Exclusive Fashion Investor Gala promises to be an unforgettable evening where upcoming designer talent will present their creations, share stories of their brands andd network with the fashion industry insiders. Fashio startups will present their design portfolios and business pitches, and receive feedback from investors, vc funds, successful retail entrepreneurs and leading fashion experts!
