Fashion Mentor teaches all the things they don’t teach you in fashion school and now we’re back with our next in-person event in Los Angeles' Fashion District!

This 3 day experience will include workshops led by Celebrity Stylist and Founder of Fashion Mentor, Brittany Diego where you will:

• Participate in hands-on styling challenges on a model
• Visit multiple fashion showroom on Day 2’s tour and learn how to get access directly from fashion PR bosses

During this 3 day experience , you will...

• Learn the fundamentals of becoming a successful fashion or celebrity stylist
• Complete hands-on exercises that will prepare you for working on a photo or video shoot.
• Go on VIP fashion showroom tours and learn how stylists are able to borrow designer clothing for shoots and how you can get access
• Leave with a clear plan to take next to start landing jobs in the fashion industry, book clients, and create a top tier styling portfolio.

Please note, there will be limited spots available for this event and we are following LA County requirements for COVID-19. Proof of Vaccination cards or a negative test result within 72 hours of the event will be mandatory.

Travel and hotel are NOT inclusive within your registration and must be purchased separately. The event will be held in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles’ Fashion District.

On day 1, you will attend lectures and panel discussions around the following topics:

• How to get started as a stylist with 0 experience or even if you live in a non-fashion city
• How to get your first clients
• The business side of being a stylist
• Where to get clothes for shoots
• How to network and navigate the fashion industry
• And so MUCH more

On day 2, you will visit fashion showrooms in LA’s fashion district where they will learn how to pull like a stylist and how to get access to fashion PR showrooms and rental houses.

**No need to worry about renting a car, TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED for this day's activities.

On day 3, you will participate in hands-on exercises with a professional model that will prepare you for working on editorials and video shoots and learn how to conduct a fitting.

Aspiring stylists will leave the Stylist Summit with a clear plan to take next to start landing jobs in the fashion industry, book clients, and create a top tier styling portfolio.

NOTE: Virtual attendees will receive a copy of presentation slides to follow along with lessons.

Are any restrictions in place as it pertains to COVID-19?

Proof of Vaccination cards or a negative test result within 72 hours of the event will be mandatory. Refunds will not be provided for positive COVID testing, however, you will receive a credit to use for events and future purchases.

What hotel should I stay at?

Hotels in the Downtown Los Angeles area near landmarks including "LA Live" and the Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as the Staples Center).

Suggestions: Hotel Indigo, Ace Hotel, The Hoxton, The Wayfarer, The InterContinental Los Angeles. For AirBnbs search for those in Downtown Los Angeles near the above landmarks.

Can I bring a friend?

All attendees must register for the Stylist Summit Individually. No plus ones that are not registered attendees will be granted access.

What's the refund policy?

All registration is non-refundable.

Will I receive a certificate at the end of the Summit?

Yes, all in-person attendees who complete the curriculum and exercises will receive a Certificate.

Brittany Diego (@brittanydiego) is a celebrity stylist and fashion consultant based in Los Angeles with extensive experience working with a diverse range of celebrities and companies and including Revolve, BCBG, MTV, Fox Studios, Lori Harvey, Karen Civil, Trevor Jackson, Draya Michele, and more.

Since establishing herself as a sought-after celebrity fashion stylist, Brittany saw an opportunity to serve millennial stylists who were in need of early and mid-level career guidance, which inspired her to create Fashion Mentor, a platform that teaches you "everything you wish they taught you in fashion school".
