FEATURED GUEST
Fashion Designer Emily Burnett
Luxury womenswear fashion designer and technology enthusiast, Emily Burnett is internationally recognized within the fashion industry for her feminine sensibility and cutting-edge innovation. Attention to ornate details, couture craftsmanship, and effortlessness characterize her aesthetic. Emily's brand has been sold in major department stores like Bloomingdales and Saks and she is now a pioneer in Metaverse.
Emily paved the way to her design success by moving to New York City in 2003 to study Fashion Design at Parsons School of Design. Burnett launched her career as a designer at Ralph Lauren's Black Label and at age 23, became the New York’s luxury design house, Dennis Basso's Creative Director. In 2018, Burnett exited Basso after designing over 50 collections to launch her eponymous luxury line, Burnett New York, that provides boldly feminine luxury fashion with a mission to empower and inspire all women.
In 2022, with adaptations to retail climate change, she innovated MetaBurnett, a brand where she uses Web3 technology to pioneer newness at the forefront of fashion, merging high fashion in both the physical real-world space as well as the digitally focused Metaverse and NFT markets.
"When we think about the impact that fashion can make on the world, we recognize its powerful role in breaking barriers, creating unity, and being a positive platform for change"
-Emily Burnett, Founder and Creative Director
