Fashion For Change Matchmaking Workshop

In this highly interactive workshop, sustainable fashion designers, startups and SMEs will learn how to find a project partner for the 2022 Fashion For Change Accelerator Programme.

Projects eligible for the Programme should seek to develop innovative products, brands or services designed for sustainable textiles and fashion and be introduced by at least two partners from different EU or associated EU countries, including Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Ukraine, the UK and Northern Ireland.

While the lead applicant must be a self-employed professional, designer, startup or SME, the transnational partner can be another designer, startup, investor, sponsor, incubator, self-employed expert, academic or service provider specialized in the circular economy, sustainable fashion, marketing and communication, training or logistics.

Partnerships qualifying for the Accelerator Programme will receive:

• Financial support of 10 000 EUR per team,
• an additional grant of 5 000 EUR (for the 5 finalists),
• personal mentoring on sustainability, product, service and business development,
• two study visits to improve manufacturing, marketing and/or business development,
• networking opportunities with potential partners, experts and investors,
• access to and visibility on the Fashion For Change Knowledge Hub, and
• support and assistance from the Consortium throughout the project.
