large and small businesses.

Becca Aronson, aka Bex, was born in Manhattan but grew up in nearby Greenwich Connecticut, always knowing she’d be back in the city one day. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 she moved back to NYC where she worked as an accessories editor for LUCKY Magazine and a fashion editor for REDBOOK Magazine. After 6 years of honing her fashion eye in the editorial world Bex decided to go back to school and get her MBA at Wharton. As one half of ADORNIA, Bex handles all the creative aspects of the company from product design to website content to PR and social media.

Adornia.com was co-founded by former Lucky accessories editor Becca Aronson. Referred to by Lucky Magazine as "the online jewelry shop that stretches beyond our personal loyalties: not only is their stuff pretty great, it's also organized really well."

Divided into collections like "Deco After Dark" (pearl tassels, chandelier earrings), Adornia makes shopping its jewelry less about where you wear each piece (fingers, ears, neck) and more about what you want it to look like. That makes personal jewelry shopping a more swift, direct thing for girls who know their own style. But it also makes gift-buying an easier thing for guys and friends. Just tell them which of the five collections is most "you," then let them pick something that fits their budget and suits your style. (Our personal favorites from each collection are in the slideshow below, in case you're curious.)

Former Marketing Director of Anvil Knitwear and currenly multitasking at Gap with Global Brand Partnerships, Ashlene Nand recently Founded a new nail polish subscription service, Lacquerous.

Dubbed "Netflix for Nail Polish", Lacquerous is a new innovative online beauty start-up in the $7B nail polish market. Since it's inception in December 2012 (and launch in August 2013), the company has been featured in the New York Times, Fast Company, Huffington Post, Refinery29, Glamour and more.

From luxe Tom Ford to your favorite Chanel, Lacquerous allows you to rent and share designer nail polishes for a flat monthly fee of $18 (think Rent the Runway meets Birchbox).
