Event description

Description

The first class in the series of tutorials for Physio Sequence Therapy certification.

This is an indepth exploration about facial lines and bands. Many thereapists are familiar with the vertical lines of Tom Meyer's Anatomy Trains. This class will review those vertical lines but also explore the horizontal bands that are often related to vertical lines of tension.

Learn what they are, where, why, discover how to find them on every client, and learn how to decrease their tension.

Also briefly learn a clinicnal application of how these lines and bands relate to ancient systems like the Meridian system of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Chakra system of Hindu Philosophy in a non-secular approach. A separate class focuses on this clinical application of these systems to fascial tension.

Physio Sequence Therapy is a new approach to Massage Therapy. East meets West and Old meets New with this technique. It culminates modern research and connects the dots with ancient healing systems to give the client a deeply relaxing and resotative session. It takes a broader view of a client's symptoms rather than narrowly focusing on muscles. PST works with the structures within the integumentary system, such as neural fascia, lymphatic tension and tissue guarding. It strategically addresses enteric nervous system tension by connecting with the vagus nerve to aid the client's body and mind relax, yeilding faster and longer lasting results. The aim of PST is to work smarter and not harder on the client or the therapist.
