Event description

Description

The National Young Farmers Coalition is hosting this workshop in collaboration with Solidarity Farm and Pauma Tribal Farm. This workshop is for people who have some farming/ranching experience and are looking to understand how to implement ecological practices using local, state, and federal financial and informational resources.

Solidarity Farm is a worker-owned farm and Pauma Tribal Farm is an initiative of the Luiseño-Pauma Tribe. This on-farm workshop will demonstrate ecological practices that help build soil health, conserve water, and mitigate climate change. This working farm will also share how they've worked with various programs and partners to support financing and and development of their systems.

Lunch will be provided as part of your registration. Please register by March 28, 2019.

A limited number of fee waivers are available upon request; please contact mai@youngfarmers.org to request a waiver.
