Organic Farm Tour with Nick Batty
Lunch with Culinary Demonstration by
Chef Kristina San Filippo
Owner Nick Batty will lead a tour of Inyoni Farm, located in Naples, Florida, introducing the variety of plants being grown on the farm and sharing stories of the trials & triumphs of growing produce by organic standards in Southwest Florida. The sustainable farming practices used at Inyoni will be the focus of the tour material, including the farm’s dedication to sell only to local restaurants and customers. Following the tour, a culinary demonstration will be presented where Chef Kristina San Filippo will prepare a selection of recipes using the same seasonal produce just seen on the tour of the farm. Guests will then enjoy a three course vegetarian lunch featuring the recipes presented in the culinary demonstration. The lunch menu will vary based on seasonal availability of produce from the farm.
All plants at Inyoni Farm are grown following organic standards. 80% of the farm land is USDA Organic Certified. 20% of the farm land is grown under the same organic standards but is in the midst of the transitional 3 year period to become Organic Certified.
