Description

Chicken N Pickle will be hosting an exclusive family-style dinner buffet paired with wines from Terra Firma on Thursday, September 28.

We are excited to welcome featured Chef, Mike Yakura, who made a name for himself at Jianna, Le Colonial and Ozumo, before opening his own restaurant Dobbs Ferry, and now his fast casual concept Noodle Me in San Fransisco.

Mike and our Executive Chef, Alex Staab collaborated to create a menu that reflects their styles of using fire and coals to create a rustic event where slow cooking is praised. Meats and vegetables are sponsored by Good Natured Family Farms (Kansas City).

The Menu will be Paired with wines from Marian Fuica, from Terra Firma wines, see menu below.

To Start:

  • Mike's house cured meats (from his local supplier Rancho Llano Seco), local organic honey, and house made jams.
Pasta:
  • Gnocchetti Sardi with a ragu of wild boar with mint, Cannonau Wine, tomatoes, and Fior di Sardo cheese.
Main:
  • Whole roasted pigs from Good Natured Family Farms, slow roasted on our rotisserie.

Vegetables:

  • Coal roasted potatoes with pickled onions and peppers.
  • Charred cauliflower with pistachio and mint gremolata.
  • Coal charred mushrooms with salsa verde.

Dessert:
  • Profiteroles with cream and a Dulce de Leche using BLVD Stout.
First come, first serve seating. Must be 21(+) to purchase tickets.
