Farm to Fork Cook-off: Request for Chefs

Delaware State University's Food Business Incubation Center is hosting a Farm to Fork Cook-off on Thursday, April 6. Prizes will total $1,100! Registration is free. Details below.
You must use any type of (locally sourced) vegetable or fruit to create a delicious dish. The vegetable or fruit must be the main ingredient. To view a list of locally sourced produce visit: Delaware Department of Ag.
Dishes may be sweet or savory.
One dish per entrant.
Dishes will be judged based on flavor, presentation/display, creativity, and customer service of the chef.
You will need to bring your dish completely prepared, ready to serve. You will need to also bring serving dishes and other serving items you might need. Please bring samples to accommodate 75 people.
Entrants need to arrive at the market no later than 2 pm. The contest will start at 3 pm and end no later than 5 pm. Prizes will be awarded at 4:30 pm. Entrants must be present during the awards ceremony to collect their prizes. Winners will be selected based on the highest number of votes.
