Event description

Description

Our state string art just leveled up with this custom cut state wood piece! You'll join master string artist Ashley Rieck from Unglued: Sioux Falls to take on string art. This project will involve learning the basics of string art from starting with a piece of approximately 8x10 reclaimed wood, choosing your image (and to heart or not to heart in your design!), hammering your nails, and completing your design with a few different string application options to make it uniquely your own project.

Workshop cost is $30 and includes all your supplies to create your state string art piece. String colors will vary. This workshop is for older teens to adult ages. Pre-registration is required and refunds are not given for cancellations with less than 72 hours notice prior to workshop start.

This workshop is part of our Holiday Workshop Lookbook! Take 4 or more workshops in November & December and get a $25 gift certificate after the 4th workshop to spend at the shop or on workshops (please note: this promo cannot be shared between participants - you get to take all 4 to receive the fun!)! Find our current line up here.

Please note that most of our workshops require a minimum of 4 participants. If our minimum is not met by the day before the workshop you will be notified of the class being cancelled and get a full refund! Registration for most workshops also close the night prior at 8pm to allow for correct supplies to be available, but you are welcome to call the shop the day of to see if there have been cancellations or extra spots at 701.205.1597. Occasionally dependent on the type of supplies, registration will need to close (or minimum participating number of attendees reached) 48-72 hours in advance.
