Lauren Ruth Ward

A multifaceted warrior heralded from Baltimore, Lauren Ruth Ward‘s lyrics are secrets to strangers drenched in raspy power. Ward recently wrapped up her 3rd studio album “numberthree”, which will be released one single at a time. This body of work follows the death and rebirth of both personal and musical relationships and was written, performed, produced, and mastered by women only. "Messiah" drops May 31st a week before Ward headlines The Troubadour for West Hollywood's inaugural Pride.

Listen to her latest tracks here :"The Break Up Song" "Pain" "Sing In The Shower"

BIIANCO

Fan Girl Cafe Presents: Lauren Ruth Ward image

BIIANCO is the Duke and Duchess of a new generation of queer-femme, chill wave dream-pop, and reigning over the cis-male dominated LA music scene with the savage style mastery of a 90's Italian Queen of Queen's. BIIANCO, a mulit-instrumentalist and producer, takes their art into their own claws- sharp as their tongue- to transform heartbreaks to heavy beats and triumph to vocoder choirs. It's music to dance through trauma to. It's the soundtrack of a dying ego. And they do it all themselves. BIIANCO began their solo journey into producing after a life altering rebirth at an all womxn Ableton retreat in Joshua Tree. They emerged inspired to be both artist and muse, each song produced, directed, performed, curated and eccentrically styled entirely of their own imagination with their own hands.

Marieme

Marieme is a Senegalese-American artist whose music focuses on themes of Self Love, Revolution, and Empowerment. Her upbringing and being uprooted by war at 6 months old in Senegal and moving with nothing to America, has shaped Marieme into a messenger of Love. Adapting “consciousness is the new rock n roll” as her tagline, Marieme has been making a case for her messages through music, fashion and cutting edge tech. She recently played with Trevor Hall on two sold out shows at red rocks which had over 20 thousand people who attended and her well received weekly residency at The Sun Rose in Hollywood. In the last few weeks she has two new songs including with Trevor Hall, "2 Oceans" and Spencer Brown, "Stuck" that have been played on numerous stations including KCRW in Los Angeles and Europe.

Most recently she launched her own app and was featured as a next generation icon on V magazine while working on the follow up to her Songs for the Revolution ep. “I want to help bring us together, by taking us back to the source of love, so that we have the tools to navigate this life”. She has a feature in Glamour magazine mentioning her unique approach to music and style.
