A California ABC license is required for attendance. Out of state license holders must list their State and license number.
Each ticket ordered must have a separate name.
This is now a two day event for the trade:
Saturday 3/9/13, Trade 1pm - 3pm, Consumers 3pm - 6pm
Sunday 3/10/13, Trade Only 1pm - 5pm
We are requiring each trade partner and media representative to enter their ABC license number or Media Affiliation to restrict those that are not rightfully engaged in the trade or media from attending during Trade Only portions of the tasting. Family Winemakers will review trade & media registrations to ensure that our criteria for admission are met.
Upon approval of your registration, you will be issued name tags which will be imprinted with bar codes and scanned at the tasting. See below for instructions on how to make any needed changes in your registration form. To qualify for admission as trade, you must be professionally involved in the purchase and/or sale of wine; media must regularly disseminate articles on wine and identify your media outlet on the form; wine industry suppliers must be Associate Members to attend as trade, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to apply. If we have questions about your trade status or it appears that you do not meet our criteria, we will contact you.
Thursday, February 21, to receive name tags by mail (will be mailed by February 27).
Staff changes will be accepted until February 21, see instructions below. Changes after February 21 must be made on site.
Friday, March 1, to have name tags at Will Call (under your business name).

To make staff changes in an existing registration (submit by February 21 if you registered before that date and your name tags are being mailed; submit by March 1 if you registered after February 21 and your name tags will be at Will Call)
Go to https://www.eventbrite.com/gettickets, click on LogIn, enter the email address that was used to create the registration and your password (or get a new one by putting your email address where it says "Don't know your password?"). Once logged in, click on "My Tickets" at the top of the page, then on "Manage Order". Make your updates, click on Save, and print your new tickets.
No advance registrations accepted after March 1. Trade tickets on sale at the door, $40.
Photo ID and proof of trade status will be required at the door.

Our first tasting was held on November 12, 1991, in the Sheraton Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Family Winemakers had 71 member wineries back then, and 47 of them poured that night for about 350 members of the wine trade. We've grown. We have over 375 members today and many of them pour at one or all of our tastings: Bay Area, Del Mar and Pasadena. We've grown, and so have our tastings, but some things haven't changed. The wineries are just as dedicated as they were in 1991 to producing the finest wines they can, the winemakers are just as passionate about the right soil, the right grape, the right microclimate. And Family Winemakers is just as committed to presenting our member wineries and their wines at tastings that showcase the breadth and depth of winemaking in our state. Family Winemakers ...
