Event description


Family Violence Workplace Response training is a 4 hour session designed for managers, supervisors and staff who have supervision responsibilities. It is intended to increase skill and confidence in having conversations with your staff in relation to family violence.

Research indicates that up to 45% of Australian female nurses, doctors and allied health have experienced violence by a partner and or family member during their lifetime. Family violence is a workplace issue and we all have a role to play in creating a workplace culture where our employees and volunteers feel comfortable to access support.

This session is facilitated by Peter Cranage, Family Violence Specialist and Kate Muir, Human Resources Advisor.
