Event description
A comprehensive webinar on the identification, care, and storage methods for your family photograph collection.

About this event

Margaret Canfield is the current ACE Curatorial Fellow at Saint-Gaudens National Historic Park. Her interest in historic photographs started while working in the library conservation lab at Cornell University while completing her undergraduate in history of art. She has also worked with historic photograph collections as an undergraduate intern at the Buffalo State Art Conservation Program.

This webinar will cover the identification of various historic photograph processes from the 19th and 20th century that are often found in family photo collections. Based on these identifications, Margaret will help identify common types of deterioration and how to properly store these collections to help preserve and protect your family's visual history.
