**BOTH DATES REQUIRED FOR CERTIFICATION**

This one day training will certify you as a Model Program Facilitator of "Family Matters". After you complete the training you can serve as many families as you have capacity. We provide all start up materials for free.

Anyone who registers MUST be able to commit to the following:

1. Implement the program in Sacramento County within 3 months of being trained

2. Submit Demographics and Evaluation results post program to Omni Youth Programs (forms provided)

Training Description:

Family Matters is a take home program to support families with teens in preventing alcohol and drug use as well as build relationships within the family. There are 4 booklets given to families sequentially that they complete on their own time. This program is great for hard to reach populations who may be on your wait list, have transportation or health issues, or are just want to engage their family. This can also be administered as phone counseling, homework for families or can be done with families in your office. The outcomes of this evidence based program can be found on SAMHSA and NREPP sites.
