Description

DePaul’s Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center and LEDDED LTD. will present a full day symposium on the effects of substance abuse and domestic violence on children of addicted parents. Jerry Moe, the National Director of the Children's Program, Betty Ford Center, will be the featured speaker and participate throughout this unique symposium. Through various panel discussions with experts in the field, panelists and attendees will explore the overlooked topics of children of addicted parents, the effects of substance abuse with respect to parenting in today’s culture, representing addicted parents, the role of the judicial system when encountering addicted parents, and domestic violence as impacted by addiction in families.
