Family History Writing
Family History Writing provides an opportunity to develop tools for writing about memorable family members, places, or events. Presenter Duane Roen discusses the family experiences that offer rich material for writing and shares strategies for beginning the writing process.
Through a hands-on activity, you will respond in writing to a series of questions designed to generate concrete details about family stories and be invited to share your writing with the group. In turn, the group will be encouraged to offer constructive feedback that will help you further develop your writing.
You are encouraged to bring your laptop.
Free & Open to the Public | Lunch will be provided
**ASU faculty will be on-hand to assist during the “drop-in writing hour” from noon – 1 p.m. You are welcome to bring any written document for review.**
