Family Engagement and Retention
April 5, 2017: 9:00am to 4:00pm
During this training, attendees will discuss the meaning of family engagement and retention, learn tools and strategies for engagement and retention to use with families, discuss how changes the family may undergo affects home visits and explore ways to increase retention and engagement in the programs that you work for. This training involves information sharing among attendees as well as small and large group exercises with the creation of family engagement and retention plans to be used in the field.

Cost of one day class: $60 per person

*All travel arrangements and meals are the responsibility of the local site.
*Recommended for staff with less than 2 years experience

Cancellations must be received 7 days prior to the training date
A $250 cancellation fee will be charged for Healthy Families Core Training and Nurturing Parenting Program Training if cancellation is received in less than 7 days in advance. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged for 1-day training classes if the cancellation is received less than 7 days in advance.
