Family Day Dinner with Depot Command
**Due to extensive damage from Hurricane Matthew at the Lyceum, Family Day Dinner with Depot Command will be held at Traditions until further notice**
The Commanding General, the highest ranking officer on MCRD Parris Island, is responsible for leading the Marines in creating the world’s most elite fighting force. The Commanding General, if on base, and the Depot Command, other leaders charged with turning recruits into Marines, will be available for a casual reception to share in the excitement of Graduation.
Immediately following the Commanding General’s welcome remarks at 4:45 p.m., dinner with members of the Depot Command begins. While enjoying a seasonal menu made with fresh ingredients, you will talk with other new families and experienced Marines about events during Recruit Training and what to expect after graduation. This truly is a family dinner with your Marine Corps family. This is meant to be a relaxing evening and attire is casual. There is limited seating and reservations are required for dinner. Your new Marine will be busy preparing for Graduation and will be unable to attend this event.
If you are attending the dinner with another party and would like to sit together, we will do our best to make accommodations. Please email us at email@example.com and let us know ahead of time so we may make the seating arrangements accordingly.
**Tickets are nonrefundable.
