Join us at the Pearl on Wednesday evenings for a hands-on studio art experience! Each week features a different workshop with projects inspired by current exhibitions or seasonal traditions. The 1.5-hour workshop is offered twice each Wednesday: 4:30-6:00pm and 6:30-8:00pm. Each session is limited to 30 participants.

Families are encouraged to attend, as are individuals interested in discovering new art forms and techniques. Workshop fees are $10 per person or $8 for museum members. All materials are provided for participants.

Please note: Children & teens under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

November 9, 2016: Wooden Animal Sculptures

Featured this fall in our Rebecca Cole Gallery is Turning Point, an exhibition overview of masterworks in the ancient art of woodturning and the inspiration for wooden sculptures to be created by participants in this workshop. We will combine the mediums of wood and paint creating sculptures that also capture the vibrancy of Australian Aboriginal motifs.
