Family and Friends CPR
The AHA Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPRand AED use (demonstrated by the instructor) child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible. In addition to CPR this course will cover injury prevention tips and safety. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, babysitter or friend, this single session will provide you with the skills that can turn a life-threatening situation into a lifesaving one.
Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but does not need a CPR course completion card, such as healthcare providers, healthcare students, or anyone in the workplace that needs one to meet a job requirement.
Class Format
1 class, 3 hours
Class Prerequisite
You do not have to be a Baptist Health patient to attend this class.
Course Instructor
An American Heart Association BLS Instructor teaches this course.
