                                     Make a silent retreat

Take time to renew your faith, your personal relationships and discover how the Church's Office of the Hours can enrich your personal life. Two and three day retreats are led by Father Tom Bartolomeo and are available throughout the year with some exceptions. The retreats begin either Friday mornings at 8am, evenings at 7pm or Saturday mornings at 8am and conclude either Sunday or Monday afternoons at 4pm. Daily Mass will be celebrated every morning and all retreatants are asked to maintain silence throughout their stay except for meetings and meals shared together. We will accommodate individual schedules as much as possible. Please email me to discuss the purpose of a "silent" retreat..

Our retreats embody the spirit of Christ who sent his Apostles into the world instructing them, "as you have freely received so you should freely offer" and will include individual guest bedrooms. (Matthew 10:8).  No payment is required or will be asked for. ( A modest good-will offering for the house's upkeep would be acceptable but, again, is not required.)

The retreat house was originally an early pioneer one room house c.1709 which was enlarged over many generations into a twelve rooms with six bedrooms and incorporates in its architecture all major periods of home constructions from pre-Revolutionary, Federal, neo-Classical and Victorian eras. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and featured in the "Great Homes and Destinations" section of the New York Sunday Times the house sits in a rural setting of dairy farms and apple orchards sixty miles North of New York City..
