FAME Camp

Inspire – Create – Collaborate! Light up the sky like a flame! The long awaited return of F.A.M.E Camp. WE’RE BACK! F.A.M.E. Camp is a creative, expressive and inspirational program, which offers children experiences to build their self-confidence and self-reliance all while having FUN! The program introduces children to a wide spectrum of the arts - Visual Art, Drama, Dance, Theatre, and Music. Our goal is for the children to experience different genres of the arts as it has evolved through time and different cultures.

Each day the children will have an opportunity to engage in ART STUDIO where the focus will be on learning a bit about a particular artist then creating an original work of art inspired by that artist’s style. In the afternoon children move into STAGE TIME where they will work collaboratively in small groups to plan their performance for our weekly SHOWCASE. This is a child-led performing activity. The staff will assist in providing needed materials and support. Performances can include skits, dance routines, short films, or anything the kids dream up! On Thursdays or Fridays, depending on the week, we will have a SHOWCASE where children put on a production and showcase what they have been working on that week.

The SHOWCASE is an art gallery of their visual artwork and a live theater performance of their STAGE-TIME work. Parents are invited to attend all SHOWCASE performances. We will provide further details about actual dates and times of performances. When we are not busy with ART STUDIO and STAGE-TIME, we will be including daily outdoor games, drawing tutorials, acting games, and “Just Dance”. During our down time we’ll view short, educational media relating to our weekly theme.

This camp is open to entering 1st graders through entering 6th graders.

Registration / Enrollment

A non-refundable registration fee of $50 per child is due at the time of registration.

PACCC is in the process of transitioning to online registration and electronic contracts. The new online registration system is scheduled to go live in May 2022. Registering for PACCC's summer programs via Eventbrite will guarantee your space. You will receive an electronic contract when the new system is ready.

Deposit

A $1,000 deposit is required at the time of registration for FAME Camp. The deposit will be applied to your child's final 2 weeks of attendance.

Payments

Tuition is due and payable in advance of service. See registration and deposit details for payments due at the time of registration.

Payment in full for FAME Camp is due on or before May 31, 2022.

PACCC’s Accounting Office will send you a schedule of payment(s). Children may not participate in summer programs if fees for care are not paid in advance. Please make checks and money orders payable to PACCC and mail or deliver to 3990 Ventura Court, Palo Alto, CA 94306. Payments may also be made by automatic debit. Receipts for payments are available upon request.

Cancelations / Refunds

Written notice of cancelation must be submitted via email to PACCC’s Accounting Office no later than May 1, 2022, for all camp sessions. Refunds will be made for the amount paid, less the $50 non-refundable registration fee. No refunds will be granted for cancelations received after May 1, 2022.
