Featuring locally grown, raised and produced vegetables, fruits, meats and wine. Served buffet style under a tent overlooking vineyards and the historic farmhouse (listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the Interior) at Thanksgiving Farm. Enjoy top quality local ingredients expertly prepared by The Palate Pleasers’ executive chef, Amy Daniels. Relax in the casual rural atmosphere of southern Anne Arundel County and meet some of the areas best farmers. Participation is by advanced ticket purchase only. Ticket purchases through EventBrite.com. Seating is limited to 48 participants (21 and older only). Price of $57.00 (plus EventBrite fee) per person includes responsible refills of Thanksgiving Farm wine (your choice of 2015 Dry Rose, 2012 Farmhouse Red or 2012 Reserve Meritage) and the following menu (subject to substitutions based on availability of fresh ingredients at time of event). Passed Appetizers: Butternut Squash Soup Shots. Buffet: Grilled Local Angus Hamburgers (cooked to order), Buns (wheat or gluten-free), Toppings (cheeses, mayo, ketchup, dijon, chipotle, onions (on side), pickles, tomatoes), Eggplant Parmesan, Roasted Carrot Stick and Red Potato Wedges (“fries”) with fresh herbs, and Apple Arugula Salad (goat cheese, sugared almonds (on side) honey shallot vinaigrette). Dessert: Apple Cake, and Pumpkin Cookies w/ maple glaze.
