Join Columbus SOUP Sunday, November 15th from 5:30-8:00PM at Vue Columbus (our gracious hosts) and help us celebrate and support Social Entrepreneurships happening in Columbus! We are pleased to be partnering with CleanTurn International whose mission is to reduce the social costs associated with poverty, recidivism, substance abuse and chronic unemployment through an innovative and self-sustaining business focused on leveraging market opportunities in the service industry.
You must RSVP as seating is limited, but you bring your $7 minimum cash donation to pay at the door for dinner and a vote. This event will be BYOB so you can use that extra cash to increase your donation at the door or for our raffle that supports a micro-grant for second place.
We'll be enjoying soups from some of the best restaurants and chefs in town while hearing from some inspiring evnvironmentally focused projects.
We're limiting RSVP's to two tickets per person so if you're bringing friends (and we hope you do), just ask them to RSVP too! Any questions or needs with ticketing you can email us at: email@example.com
Yes, you really do HAVE to bring cash. One of the cool things about SOUP is 100% of the cash collected at the door is handed over to the winning project as soon as we announce it! (100% of cash raffle ticket sales go to 2nd place)
Parking will be free at all street meters (yay Sunday!). Parking lots located across from and adjacent to Vue will be open to park for a small fee.
This event is BYOB! Bring whatever you wish to wet your whistle with (providing it's age appropriate)!
Use this hashtag when you tweet, instagram, and facebook about Spring SOUP: #greenspoonarmy...SOUP wouldn't be SOUP without the collective of awesome community members who make it happen. You are the #greenspoonarmy!
When & Where
Columbus SOUP is setting out to change how the Capital City thinks about philanthropy.
We harness our city’s strong community spirit to create events that connect people with local projects in need of grassroots funding. We encourage ideas, networking, and volunteerism to foster opportunities for community members to pool their own resources and invest in Columbus.
We live in a city that embraces good ideas, and Columbus SOUP provides a platform to share those ideas at the ground level and make connections that matter. Through quarterly community events, attendees pay a $7 minimum donation for dinner and a vote to fund projects that make our city a better place.
It’s a simple concept, but it can have a big impact.
Call it a kickstarter, crowdfunding, or a giving circle—no matter what you call it, we’d love for you to join us on this adventure we call Columbus SOUP.
