Description

SJSU Kinesiology Professor Shirley Reekie is leading a kayak outing into the sloughs of San Francisco’s South Bay region. Here, you'll see wildlife from water level. Lots of birds to see so keep your eyes pealed, and feel free to bring a lunch and stay to see the birds from the Bay Trail.

Be sure to bring a bag to collect intriguing trash, including lots of balls of every shape and size! Expect to kayak approx. 4-5 miles at a slow to moderate pace. All kayaking equipment is provided.

Note: By registering, you affirm that you can swim 100 yards. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Starting location provided to registered attendees just prior to event.
