It’s pumpkin spice season! Come and celebrate Fall our with our vegan cooking class led by Chef Mimi Weissenborn.

In this hands-on class, Chef Mimi demystifies vegan cooking and shows you how to make familiar and yummy home-style foods without any animal products. Chase away the autumn chill with a heartwarming menu of potato poblano soup and roasted mini pumpkins. We'll toast to your culinary success with a delicious dessert of raw cacao bites!

Instructor Bio:

A native of Frederick, Maryland, Chef Mimi Weissenborn found her calling for cuisine at a young age helping the ‘King of the Grill,’ her father, each weekend. She graduated from L’Academie de Cuisine in Washington, D.C. and is classically trained in culinary and pastry arts. Mimi credits her time as Sous Chef at Superfine in Brooklyn as where everything came together for her: how to focus on one or two ingredients in a dish and make them shine, how to keep things simple and interesting, and most important of all, how to work with the seasons. She was also the Executive Chef at 2017 Diners Choice Award Winner, Poco, in the Lower East Side. Besides teaching, Mimi enjoys developing recipes and serves as a food consultant.
