Event description

Description

Join us in celebrating Urban Oak School, the only school in the greater Cleveland area inspired by the Waldorf philosophy of education. Be part of our exciting announcement about Urban Oak's purchase of the Carmelite Monastery for our future campus. The Carmelite Sisters have graciously chosen Urban Oak to be the future stewards of this community treasure. Hear the vision of how this campus will nurture children and the community for years to come.

Fall for Urban Oak! is our inaugural fundraiser, and all proceeds will benefit the school. This event will not only celebrate our successful school year, it will help us grow and improve our school. Funds raised will provide needed classroom materials, further enrich our new space, and contribute to our school’s full-time administrative and other needs.

Enjoy an open bar with beer, wine, and autumn-inspired cocktails. Generous hors d’oeuvres highlighting American and Indian cuisine will be served buffet style. Engage with other guests, and learn about how a Waldorf-inspired education prepares children to be confident learners and collaborative leaders. Learn how the visionary, innovative, and global Waldorf movement can benefit Cleveland Heights and Northeast Ohio.
