By a generous support of Korean Consulate General in Chicago’s office, Korean Cultural Center of Chicago will offer four FREE cooking demonstration classes. A Korean food expert & author of several cook books, Ms. Young Hee Woo, will prepare popular seasonal Korean dishes to present and to taste after the demonstration. For convenience, we offer the classes in two locations. Each class can hold 30 to 60 participants. Participants of the classes prior to the last session can apply to be a contestant for a simple cooking contest on the last day (Saturday, November 16). Judges will select top three winners and there will be prizes. (No previous professional cooking experiences are required.) Details will be announced during classes. The contest will be followed by some Korean traditional performances.
