Jojo Wang is a pop and R&B singer and songwriter whose sound blends emotional honesty with sleek, modern production. Known for her heartfelt pop covers on guitar and piano, Jojo is now crafting her debut mini album, exploring themes of self-expression and emotional honesty. For the November 8 showcase, Jojo will perform covers of songs by Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, and Charli XCX, alongside two original tracks, offering an intimate yet dynamic glimpse into her evolving musical world.
Dion Anthony Ruben (D.A.R)
Soulful singer, songwriter, pianist, and musician from the Chicago south side Englewood area, Dion Anthony Ruben pours heart and authenticity into every note he plays. Suzuki Coupling
Born from the University of Chicago in the summer of 2025, Suzuki Coupling was forged when five passionate musicians—Ruojia (Vocals), Josephine (Guitar), Lily (Guitar), Frank (Drums), and Aslan (Bass)—discovered an instant creative chemistry. Their sound is a dynamic blend, weaving together elements of Indie, Pop-Punk, Psychedelic Rock, and Post-Rock. On stage, Suzuki Coupling is defined by their remarkable synergy and explosive emotional energy. They skillfully navigate the spectrum between meticulously crafted arrangements and free-flowing improvisation, driven by a dedication to standing out in every single detail.
