Fall Candle Making Basics

{ Featuring Good Things Designs by Grace }

It's often said that Labor Day Weekend is the 'unofficial end of summer'...so let's get ready for Fall and gather together to learn the art of candle making with Grace of Good Things Designs.  On Sunday, August 31st from 2-3:30 p.m. in our Curate Mercantile event space, Grace will teach you the basics of candle making with natural soy wax and essential oils.  This workshop is limited to 8 attendees and you are highly encouraged to sign-up as soon as possible considering her last two candle-making workshops sold out quickly!

During this workshop, you will go through the entire process of melting wax, mixing essential oils, and pouring the wax to dry.  All attendees will get to take home a pouring pot, wood wicks, an instruction handout and their own handmade Fall candle.

Price and Materials: $50 each includes all materials needed to make one candle, a pouring pot, wicks and instructions to take home as well.

Curate: A Local Mercantile (formerly Unlisted Market)

Curate: A Local Mercantile, located in South Denver, opened more than six years ago as 'Unlisted Market' to provide a “home” for local artisan and boutique vendors in a brick-and-mortar retail store. We support the dream of more than 100 local small businesses as we connect the surrounding community to their amazing products. Our vendors create their own small shops, selling their one-of-a-kind handmade items, fabulous fashions, art, specialty goods, food gifts, plants, home décor and so much more!

We're grateful that so many choose to #shoplocal at Curate Mercantile. Over the years, we've been honored as a Reader’s Choice Top of the Town Best Gift Shop by 5280 Magazine, included on the Denver A-List and most recently voted in 2019 for a "Best of Denver" award by Westword Magazine!  However, we feel most proud of the fact so so many shoppers refer to Curate Mercantile as their "happy place." Stop in soon - we've love to see you!
