October 1, 8, & 15

Join us for our expanded training program, preparing Milwaukee’s up-and-coming leaders to serve on nonprofit boards.

Our 3-session program will examine what it really means to serve on a board. Participants will then come together with local non-profit leaders who are looking for board members, at a special networking event.


Note: This program was created as a course over 3 evenings, an RSVP is for all 3 sessions.

Week One- Tuesday, October 1

Topic: Legal & Ethical Responsibilities of Board Members

Week Two- Tuesday, October 8

Topic: Understanding Non-profit Financials

Presented by Jill Boyle, Senior Manager- Not-for-Profit Tax, SIKICH LLP


Round Robins: Finding Your Role and Giving Back, Lessons Learned from Service

This portion of the program will consist of round table discussions lead by HPGM members and partners, focusing on how you can get involved in your community, connect your passions to volunteerism, and build your resume outside of work.
