Description

This free full-day workshop is designed for Oklahoma public school administrators, special educators and related service providers who help students with disabilities. Participants will learn the process for Consideration of Assistive Technology (AT) for all students with disabilities, including legal requirements related to AT Consideration, and hands-on learning to help educators discover potential solutions available to help meet student’s IEP goals. Pre-requisite: None.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Describe consideration of AT for all students with disabilities.
  2. Summarize what the law says about AT Consideration.
  3. List potential solutions available to help meet students IEP goals.

CEUs: 4.5 hours, pending approval for OT/OTA, PT/PTA. This program is offered for .45 ASHA CEUs (Beginner level; Professional area).
