The fall 2016 Minns Lecture Series will explore the ideals that Transylvanian Unitarians hold dear and discuss the core ritual practices kept vibrantly alive in Transylvanian Unitarian churches. The Revs. Norbert Racz, Maria Racz, and Csaba Mezei will invite attendees into a dialogue about the pressing questions facing religious liberals in this time of unique opportunity for Unitarian and Universalist communities around the world.

The series will include three lectures and a pair of closing sermons:

  • Friday, 11/11, 6:00 pm, King's Chapel Boston - The Rev. Csaba Mezei: Transcendentalism in Transylvania.

  • Saturday, 11/12, 12:00 pm, First Church in Boston - The Rev. Norbert Racz: The Future of Transylvanian Unitarian Liturgy. A free lunch will be provided following the Rev. Racz's talk.

  • Saturday, 11/12, 3:00 pm, First Church in Boston - Panel of the Revs. Norbert Racz, Maria Racz, and Csaba Mezei: What Will Be the Sources of a Global Unitarian Faith?

  • Sunday, 11/13, 11:00 am, King's Chapel Sunday worship service - Concluding sermon by the Rev. Norbert Racz. 

  • Sunday, 11/13, 11:00 am, First Church in Boston  Sunday worship service - Concluding sermon by the Rev. Csaba Mezei.
