The College of Business Administration (CBA) Employer in Residence Program is a showcase of an employer who recruits in CBA at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It provides the employers with the opportunity for interaction and engagement with students and/or faculty and staff.
As a participating employer, you will receive special marketing of your events via a student newsletter, CBA social media (Facebook and Twitter) digital signage and, potentially, targeted emails to students and faculty/staff.
Your agenda is tailored around your needs and recruiting goals. Possible activities include, but are not limited to:
- Booth in CBA atrium
- Lunch and Learn with faculty/staff/students (food sponsored by employer)
- Presentation to a class and/or student organization (if available)
- It is recommended to connect with faculty during the months between semesters while they are preparing their syllabi.
- Office hours at Career Services at CBA providing practice interviews and/or résumé critiques.
Your company can participate in the Employer in Residence program multiple times throughout a semester. During the two weeks prior to the career fair (September 12 - 15 & 19 - 22) your company can only participate once to ensure a variety of employers are available to the students. There is only one Employer in Residence per day.
