Prepare for Christmas with a retreat focusing on Faith in Action and the unique spirituality
of the Knights of Columbus. Don’t miss this opportunity to fulfill the Spiritual Reflection
Requirement of the Columbian Award. This event is FREE and lunch is included.
Schedule:

9:00 a.m. - Fraternal greetings and introduction to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, followed by Morning Prayer in the Redemptor Hominis Church (Fr. Jose Cortes, Chaplain, Saint John Paul II National Shrine)

9:40 a.m. - “’In Service to One, In Service to All’ in the Spirit of Saint John Paul II” (Fr. Witold Ostafiňski, Theologian in Residence, Saint John Paul II National Shrine)

10:40 a.m. - Coffee break (Confession is available)

11:00 a.m. - Introduction to the veneration of the relic of Saint John Paul II (Fr. Cortes, Luminous Mysteries Chapel) and Rosary. (Confession is available)

12:00 p.m. - Mass at the Redemptor Hominis Church. (Confession is available)

12:30 p.m. - Lunch and coffee

1:30 p.m. - “The Vocation of the Laity as a Knight of Columbus” according to the Apostolic Exhortation Christifideles Laici, (Damien O’Connor, Auditorium)

2:30 p.m. - Presentation of Saint John Paul II’s devotion to Divine Mercy (Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy, Auditorium)

3:00 p.m. - Prayer at the Holy Hour of Mercy and Eucharistic Adoration, Redemptor Hominis Church. (Confession is available)

4:00 p.m. - Presentation of the permanent exhibit by Fr. Ostafiňski and tour of the exhibit, “A Gift of Love: The Life of Saint John Paul II”
