Description

AUBURN’S MEDIA TRAINING EQUIPS LEADERS OF FAITH AND MORAL COURAGE WITH THE SKILLS TO FIND AND AMPLIFY YOUR VOICE ACROSS TRADITIONAL AND DIGITAL CHANNELS, FROM SOCIAL MEDIA TO NATIONAL TV.

Join us for an opportunity to receive professional media training specificially developed for faith leaders. A year and a half ago, thirty of us received this training which increased our voice in the media exponentially. We are bringing them back for two days of training to strengthen our diverse religious voices speaking for justice through many channels.

November 9th, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., November 10th 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Thanks to sponsorship from The Interfaith Alliance of Colorado and Iliff School of theology, receive this training, valued at $200 per day for only $30 for one day, or $50 for two days! Lunch is included with ticket price for each day.

Day 1: Auburn media founder, Macky Alston, will lead us in the newest developments of the media training which has shaped progressive religious voices for the past ten years. We will learn how to create a strong message, how to share your story clearly and effectively through multiple media forms, and we will practice in a safe space.

Day 2: This day is specifically designed for those who have had the basic level training (either through attending the previous year, or by attending Day 1). We will explore social media and creative ways of 'creating our own media'. We will receive further practice time and take a deeper dive into effective communication of our faith values to catalyze social change.
