Event description

Description

Many face obstacles in recovery around housing and employment due to disabilities and criminal justice system entanglements directly related to substance use disorder. The NC Justice Center is the leading research and advocacy organization dedicated to transforming North Carolina's prosperity into opportunity for all. Their mission is to eliminate poverty in North Carolina by ensuring that each household has access to the resources, services, and fair treatment it needs in order to enjoy economic security.

Fair Housing Protection and Criminal Background Relief training is being graciously provided by NC Justice Center Attorneys Daniel Bowes and Jack Holtzman. They will condense the latest legal information regarding your rights to safe and dignified housing and the eligibility requirements and processes involved with felony record expungement & and other reentry issues. You do not want to miss this crucial training.

Registration and networking at 8:30 and the training starts promptly at 9:00 am.
